Central Park Zoo
Overview
This tranquil oasis in the heart of Manhattan is one of the most idyllic and unique locations in New York City. The habitats, set on 6.5 acres, include over 1,400 animals of more than 130 species throughout tropical, temperate, and polar habitats.
Whether sipping cocktails as our sea lions glide gracefully through the water or strolling through the lush gardens taking in the elegant architecture, your guests will experience an exotic environment set against a classic New York City backdrop.
The Central Park Zoo is operated by the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS), the international conservation organization. WCS’s unique network of New York Zoo facilities also includes the Prospect Park Zoo, Bronx Zoo, New York Aquarium in Brooklyn and Queens Zoo in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
Make your green go further. All proceeds from events support ongoing global conservation efforts of the Wildlife Conservation Society.
