Caramoor

Caramoor is home to metropolitan New York's largest annual outdoor music festival. It is also known for assembling the world's finest artists to perform year-round concerts, lectures and educational programs. Located one hour from Manhattan, in picturesque Katonah, NY, the Caramoor estate sprawls over 90 acres of woodland trails, rolling lawns, sparkling vistas, and an abundance of exquisite flowering gardens perfect for wedding receptions, intimate celebrations, corporate picnics and retreats.

Caramoor is the legacy of Walter and Lucie Rosen, who established the estate and built a great house as its centerpiece. Their legendary musical evenings were the seeds of today's International Music Festival that is held annually on the estate. Caramoor's beautiful spaces include the Tapestry Hedge and the Sunken Garden which are both beautiful options for wedding ceremonies. Additional event spaces include the Spanish Courtyard, cloistered by 12th century Byzantine columns as well as the opulent Music Room and the intimate Formal Dining Room of the Rosen House. For larger events the Venetian Theater is set around Greek and Roman pink marble columns, topped by Venetian arches and protected by a billowy, light-filtering, century-style tent.

Great Performances complements Caramoor's cultural history and beautiful environment with innovative culinary creations. In addition to catering all of Caramoor's private events, they have the privilege of providing all foodservice at the summer's International Music Festival.
