Description
Year after year it seems like we always buy too many cranberries! Make this sweet and spicy jam to serve on cheese, bread or better yet--grilled cheese!1
Ingredients
- 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2⁄3 c dried cranberries
- 2 1⁄2 c sugar
- 1⁄2 c fresh orange juice
- rind of one orange
- 1⁄2 c fresh lime juice
- 2 to 4 jalapeno chilis seeded and minced
Instructions
Combine the fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, sugar, orange juice, orange rind, lime juice, jalapeho chiles and 1 1/2 cups water in a large saucepan over medium heat.
Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Boil gently until sugar is dissolved, stirring occasionally.
Boil gently for 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring to prevent sticking.
Allow to cool and store for 2-3 weeks.
