Description
Straight from Dizzy's fall cocktail menu this sangria draws warmth from the well-balanced spice mix we use in our Spiced Brown Sugar Simple Syrup.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle cabernet red wine
- 1⁄2 c brandy
- 1 c triple sec
- 1 c spiced brown sugar simple syrup
- 1 apple small diced
- 1⁄2 orange small diced
- 1/2 bunch grapes cut in half
- 5 c whole strawberries
Instructions
For the Spiced Brown Sugar Simple Syrup:
1 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup whole cloves
1 cinnamons tick
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablesoon whole cardamom
2 oz boiling water
Combine all ingredients at stir until sugar has dissolved. Let stand 20 to 30 minutes.
Combine all ingredients and let stand 24 hours. Serve in a red wine glass over ice and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
