Farm to Table.

In 2006, Great Performances became the first catering company to own and operate an organic farm. Katchkie Farm is a 60-acre, NOFA-certified organic farm in Kinderhook, NY and represents our commitment to celebrating local flavors while supporting sustainable agriculture and good earth practices. Managed by Farmer Bob Walker, the farm grows a full range of organic produce including tomatoes, eggplant, peppers, carrots, squash, beets, braising greens, micro-greens, and more. The farm continues to inspire our chefs and connects them to the regional agricultural community.

Katchkie produce comes to New Yorkers through our 500-member CSA program, our farm stand at the local Rockefeller Center Greenmarket in the summer, and our line of artisanal food products. Additionally, we feature produce in event menus and café specials whenever possible.

The farm is also home to The Sylvia Center, a non-profit that introduces children to the pleasures and benefits of eating well through farm visits and cooking workshops.

Products & Events

Katchkie Farm is the source and inspiration for a seasonal line of small-batch, handcrafted products produced with organic tomatoes and other veggies from the Farm. We currently sell our Sofi-finalist Tomato Jam here. Profits support the programs of The Sylvia Center at Katchkie Farm, where children plant, harvest and cook as a world of new flavors open up to them.
