It is always a pleasure working with Jill Cole from Great Performances Catering. Jill manages all of the catering for events at Jazz at Lincoln Center and she’s fantastic! Not only is she insanely detailed but she’s also genuinely enthusiastic about creating a menu specific to each event. The food and beverage menu for an event is so important in creating a memorable, unique experience for your guests and Jill really understands this. She put together the following menu for the Sade listening party I posted pics from last week.

It was savory, satisfying and creative. The desserts were lovely as well. Everyone loves milk and homemade chocolate chip cookies on a chilly winter night! Here is the menu and a few more pics from the event!
Jill’s Menu:
Butlered Hors d’Oeuvres (My tip: Remember to mix veggie and meat options as Jill did here…not everyone eats meat!!)
Zucchini Ribbons
with Curried Chicken
Snow Hill Farms Beef Slider
BBQ Braised Short Ribs
On Stone Ground Grit Cakes
Caviar Beggar’s Purse
with Sake-Cured Lemon Wheels
Vegetable Frittata
with Hummus and Black Olive
Salmon Tartare Cones
House Made Creme Fraiche
Rosemary Spiked Macaroni and Cheese Tarts
Petit Lobster Clubs
Lobster, Bacon, Lettuce and Tomatoes on Brioche Toast
Specialty Drink (My tip: Use seasonal ingredients as Jill did here with the ginger and pear)
Sade Specialty Cocktail
Ginger Pear Bellini
Pear Puree and Ginger Syrup Poured over Prosecco
Served in a Classic Flute with Thin Pear Slice for Garnish
Dessert Bites (My tip: Keep desserts and sweets small and easy to eat for a cocktail party)
Fruit Tartlets
Pumpkin Cheesecakes with Maple Brittle
Apple Turnovers
Warm Miniature Chocolate Chip Cookies
Served with Shot Glasses of Cold Milk
