After being seduced at a nightclub by Rachel (Beals), literary agent Peter Loew (Cage, unbridled in his twitchy, highly stylized breakout performance) starts exhibiting the classic signs of vampiric ire—before going completely and riotously off the bloodsucking deep end. This dark comedy sends up some of the archetypal genre tropes, while deftly blurring the lines between reality and imagination.
