A cadre of astronaut-scientists discover a ship containing dried-up batlike creatures and three naked humanoids, including a buxom beauty who wreaks havoc on the London citizenry by turning them into soul-sucking zombies. Director Tobe Hooper (Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Poltergeist) and writer Dan O'Bannon (Alien) team up for this brain-suckingly entertaining sci-fi vamp schlockfest teeming with obscenely sexual imagery and jaw-droppingly ridiculous plot developments.
