Just three years before helming Top Gun, Tony Scott directed possibly the most famous lesbian vampire scene ever. The ominous drumbeats of Bauhaus performing "Bela Lugosi's Dead" open this ultimate 80s vampire film about ancient vamp Miriam (Deneuve), whose lover and fellow bloodsucker John (Bowie) begins to rapidly age and deteriorate. She seeks the help of a researcher in accelerated aging (Sarandon), whom she soon starts to seduce into her alternative vampire lifestyle. Scott's visually stunning feature debut is slick, flashy, and sexy with incredible performances by the three leads.
