The New York City Commission on Human Rights and NYC Media in collaboration with Apollo Theater Education Program present the screening of “Fighting for Justice: New York Voices of the Civil Rights Movement” followed by a panel discussion with Clifford Alexander, Jr., Esther Cooper Jackson, Dr. Martha Biondi, Shola Lynch and Dr. Clarence Taylor. This screening is moderated by Keith Brown with an introduction by Howard Dodson of the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. Special performance by the C3 Youth Choir of Brooklyn’s Christian Culture Center.
