Tantawan Bloom Illuminates a Plaza Bat Mitzvah


When Orly came to us with her love of red Roses and crystal for her son Jake’s Bar Mitzvah, our creativity was set to task. How might one take these items and create a stunning, masculine party? With tight, contemporary styling and black crystal beading, this red Rose Bar Mitzvah at the Plaza Hotel in NYC was a dream come true for our client. A Luncheon on Point for ABT




The American Ballet Theatre’s Golden Circle — a membership group for donors of $1,000 to $1,499 — held its annual luncheon at The Plaza on June 21. On a warm day, a light meal was in order except for the decadent chocolate dessert.



Here's Looking at You, WNET



A gala is just a gala, some say, but not WNET.ORG's June 16th Gala Salute at The Plaza. This gala had a remake of "Casablanca," featuring the president of WNET.ORG looking Bogart-esque in a fedora and trench coat.



Hot Red Cross


Mayor Bloomberg, iPad in tow, came to the Plaza on June 8 to present the Red Cross of Greater New York’s Humanitarian Award to philanthropists Pat and John Rosenwald. The mayor recounted what he had learned about the couple at a party they threw to celebrate their combined 125th birthday.



$3 Million Raised at NYU KIDS Gala, Heartstrings Attached


At NYU Langone Medical Center, Dr. Achi Ludomirsky heals children’s hearts. In the ballroom of the Plaza on May 25, his patients had their turn to make his heart swell — as well as those of the nearly 500 guests.



Seeds For Peace Beats Camp Runamok


Not every summer camp reunion takes place at the Plaza, with actress Christine Baranski as emcee and New Yorker editor David Remnick as keynote speaker. But Seeds of Peace International Camp is not like any other camp. Set in rustic Otisfield, Maine, this camp brings together youth from the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Cyprus, the Balkans, and the United States to develop campers' conflict resolution skills.
