Robyn Satnick and Andrew Frank were confident that their wedding planning would come easily on account of the tremendous support their combined families offered. “My parents had already helped plan the weddings of my older sister and brother, so they really led the way,” shares the bride. Robyn and Andrew’s respective siblings suggested helpful advice and emphasized the importance of enjoying the entire process, urging them not to become stressed by insignificant matters. The groom’s parents hosted a wonderful rehearsal dinner to start out the celebratory weekend, and a delightful brunch the morning after the wedding. “It brought a nice close to the weekend – it was very warm and a lot of fun!” remembers Robyn.

The first hint of things to come upon entering the sold-out main ballroom at Foundation Fighting Blindness’s “Dining in the Dark,” held Thursday at the Plaza, was an elaborate system of stanchions connected with white cotton ropes: They were to help the blind waiters navigate the room.

NEW YORK — Still fly, still relevant, still making multiple hustles lucrative. Sean "Diddy" Combs is 40 years old. The money in the room was anything but dirty on Thursday night, as Diddy celebrated his birthday (which was actually November 4) in the Grand Ballroom of the Plaza Hotel. The atmosphere was almost like Garden of Eden meets "The Godfather," with trees, grass and black decorations. Diddy and his goodfellas came dressed in tuxedos, the ladies in elegant gowns, and all were greeted by ballerinas serving drinks.

Last night, we celebrated our 15th anniversary at the Plaza Hotel, and what a party it was! We at Martha Stewart Weddings have loved creating the gorgeous images that have graced our pages over the years, and we were so touched that so many in our industry came out to celebrate with us. Of course, we know that you also have a big part in making us the success we are today. So have a look at these pictures (and check out our online gallery of party pics) from last night and let us know what you think. After all, it truly is a testament to you, the discerning bride, that we've been able to give voice to the weddings that touch us with their beauty and cleverness for as long as we have—without you, we wouldn't be here. So thank you all for continuing to inspire us, and here's to another 15 years!

If you weren't there, (although it seems like the whole world attended), the Plaza Hotel rocked on Monday night for the Martha Stewart Weddings 15th Anniversary Party. I was lucky enough to be asked to plan the event, so here are some highlights.

At the Plaza, they opened up the Palm Court, which is just inside the entrance foyer, to a private party given by the Director's Council of the Museum of the City of New York "New York After Dark."

The hotel also opened the French doors at the back of the Palm Court which give onto the Terrace Room behind. The Terrace Room is where the cocktail receptions were always held before going upstairs to the Grand Ballroom for dinner. It was reached from another entrance, a staircase on the left side of the Palm Court.
