Chef Mitchell Kaldrovich's Sea Glass restaurant in Maine at Inn by the Sea captures the essence of coastal Maine and its bounty of local seafood. Kaldrovich's career began at Galani Restaurant, a four-star establishment in Buenos Aires and he has since worked at L'Orangerie Restaurant in West Hollywood, the Duck Club Restaurant in Monterey, California, the La Palme D'Or at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, Florida, and Llao Llao Hotel & Resort in Patagonia as well as Plump Jack Café in Squaw Valley, California as Executive Chef. Designed in the style of a European "enoteca di vino" Mae Mae Cafe is operated by NYC catering company Great Performances. This warm and intimate Hudson Sqaure Cafe features fresh, homemade, specialty dishes and an outstanding selection of wines. Highlight menu items include Baked Macaroni with NY cheeses, Rosemary Roasted Pork Cubano Sandwich, and Fresh Pulled Mozzarella Panino.
The decor is a nuanced mixture of antique wood furnishings, deep red hues and eclectic objects d'art. Mae Mae is perfect for small gatherings, seated dinners and cocktail receptions. Mae Mae Cafe also has a full bar and in-house mixologist to serve you an inspired cocktail.
Mae Mae Cafe is open for lunch Monday- Friday from 11:30 AM - 4:00 PM and for dinner every Wednesday night until 10:00 PM when the Cafe features live musical performances throughout the evening.
