Co-Director of Style & Design, Josh Tierney's plans are a mix of the old and new, like BAM. He mixed the ultra modern with the truly traditional like the vintage molding along the top of the bars, which is shaped from vintage casts and made out of recycled tin cans.

Pop-Up Restaurants
When the James Beard Foundation went looking for a partner to run the daytime café at their first ever pop-up restaurant, they didn’t look too far. Seeking a fresh perspective on freshly prepared food, JBF turned to long-time partner Great Performances for a café menu that would match the culinary creativity and talent showcased at JBF LTD.
Inspiration for the café menu came from a number of sources. Cooking side-by-side with James Beard award winners like Laurent Gras motivates the GP culinary team while the weekly Katchkie Farm produce delivery ensures seasonality.
In Fall 2008, Great Performances was contracted by illy Caffe, North America to operate multiple promotional events. Specially-trained Great Performances wait staff managed pop-up cafes that featured illy's new product line at various events and locations including the NYC Wine & Food Festival, the World Financial Center and the Ziegfeld Theatre.
From September - December 2005, Great Performances worked with illy to create Gallaria illy in SoHo, "a signature space focused on art, culture, coffee, experiences and friends of illy. Great Performances assisted in training the expert baristas staff to serve an exclusive menu of specialty drink at events, meetings and educational classes which were held in the space.
