We had the pleasure of taking part in the most fabulous wedding event on March 11, in partnership with Brooklyn Based.
Throughout the day, we had the chance to meet prospective brides and grooms and tell them a little bit about what we do. Here’s what we showcased:
Our in house event design guru, Randy Ballesteros, CRUSHED it with our table scape. Sumptuous fabrics are everything for the 2018/2019 wedding season, so he chose velveteen linens from Party Rental Ltd. and topped it with a custom overlay made of silk charmeuse and printed organzas. What kind of print, you ask? We’re all about oversized florals in bold, contrasting colors these days. On top of these luscious textiles, he selected a mix of finished metallics and natural wood tones, plus free form and natural floral compositions to complete the display. Who else wants this table as a permanent fixture in their house?
Hot off the presses (aka our Chef's desk) comes Great Performances’ newest cocktail station: Cheese for the Growing Season. It pairs wheels of ultra-rich Tete de Moine with fresh pickled vegetables and slices of crispy baguette for the most well balanced bite you can imagine. The rainbow colored vegetables! The skyscrapers of bread! Those cheesy florets! With Chef Reggie behind the table, it was honestly show-stopping.
The main thing we wanted to get across with our participation at Wedding Crashers is that Great Performances has delicious food, incredible service, and 39 years of experience to lend to your celebration. We love what we do and hope that comes across in every bite.
