On Thursday, March 3rd, members of Council of Protocol Executives gathered at the Museum of the City of New York for an evening of networking and snacking. The evening’s noshing options included Pizza by the Inch, Goat Cheese Bonbons, Pumpkin Pavé with Apple Compote and Corn Rye Crisp, and a Cucumber Gimlet prepared with fresh lime juice and cucumber purée.

As the guests navigated through the crowd of their peers, they were greeted by a surprise from Party Rental Ltd: a collection of beautiful tables dressed with tablescapes curated by GP’s design team and topped with floral arrangements by Mixed Greens Event Design. It acted as a spark for guests’ imaginations, illustrating the array of aesthetics that could be created at the Museum of the City of New York, ranging from rustic and Provencal to sleek and elegant.

Boasting a setting rich with decades of New York City history, the Museum of the City of New York makes for an awe-inspiring backdrop for any occasion. Guests are mingling amongst 750,0000 objects that celebrate the diverse culture and heritage of New York City. If guests want a more immersive experience, museum docents are available to give guided tours of exhibits during events.

Moreover, just this year, the museum completed a ten-year, one hundred million dollar upgrade of the venue. This upgrade included renovations to the renowned Marble Court as well as the Rotunda, which greets guests at the entrance of the museum. From a wedding with the alter placed below Starlight Chandelier to an outdoor cocktail party overlooking Central Park on the 5th avenue Terrace, the Museum of the City of New York creates a matchless setting for events.
