1 1/2 oz tequila blanco
3/4 oz fresh watermelon purée
3/4 oz fresh tomato purée
1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Watermelon and tomato should each be blended, then clarified through a fine mesh sieve, before adding to cocktail.
Shake all ingredients on ice. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Add 2 shakes bitters. Garnish with basil leaf.
