THE PLAZA OFFERS MOMS-TO-BE INDULGENT GETAWAY EXPERIENCES AND GIFTS

New York, NY (April 23, 2016) – For more than a century, The Plaza has been the location for special occasions. That tradition continues for parents-to-be who are celebrating a new addition to their family.  Launching in time for Mother’s Day and offered throughout the year, The Plaza’s Babymoon Experience offers all the accoutrements for an indulgent weekend away, carefully tailored to meet the needs of expectant moms.

The Plaza Babymoon Experience includes accommodations complete with a pillow menu to choose your most comfortable position.  The pampering continues with tea for two in The Palm Court, a Caudalie Spa treatment, a sumptuous munchies basket curated from The Plaza Food Hall for those late night cravings, unlimited movie rental, and dinner for two at The Todd English Food Hall.  In addition the package includes a set of The Plaza Baby, a layette collection designed by British children’s wear designer Rachel Riley exclusively for The Plaza.  Rates for this package start at a reasonable rate and it is available year round, subject to availability.

In addition to a getaway, The Plaza offers a number of gifts perfect for the mom-to-be including a piece from the Legacy Jewelry collection.  Handcrafted in New York by designer and metal smith Heather Morra, each piece features a sparkling crystal repurposed from antique chandeliers that once hung in The Plaza.  Paired with an item from The Plaza Baby collection, it makes a wonderful gift and both are available exclusively at The Plaza.
