The Brooklyn Museum, home to works of art from all over the world and renowned cutting edge exhibitions, is our new home as well. In early October with Chef Saul Bolton of the former Saul Restaurant, we will open four new dining destinations at the Brooklyn Museum. BKM Bowl and B Café open October 1st. Then, The Sculpture Biergarten and POP! follow soon after, opening October 3rd.

BKM Bowl is an ethnically-diverse quick-service concept featuring a menu of seasonal bowl-style dishes, including the Ocean Ave. Bowl (braised lamb and bulgur), Nana’s Bensonhurst Bowl (DiPaola turkey meatballs and rosemary-scented polenta), Park Slope Bowl (organic sesame tofu, adzuki beans and swiss chard), Sunset Park Bowl (chicken mole), and the Bushwick Bowl (pork shoulder and plantains).

BKM Bowl will be open Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, 11AM-3PM, and Saturday, 11AM-4PM.

B Café, a casual dine-in and to-go concept featuring signature artist-created menu offerings, will be located on the museum's first floor. Signature artist-created selections will include the KAWS (fresh mozzarella, fig jam and prosciutto on a baguette), the Steve Powers (date nut bread and Philadelphia cream cheese), and the David Byrne (sardines on toasted brown bread with arugula).

B Café will be open 11AM-5PM on Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 11AM-9PM on Thursday. On Target First Saturdays (Oct 3rd) the hours are 11AM-10:30PM.

The Sculpture Biergarten will be activated at the Steinberg Family Sculpture Garden at the Brooklyn Museum, offering guests a one-of-a-kind space in which to enjoy a diverse selection of beer, wine and specialty beverages during events and special programs taking place at the museum. It will also serve light fare with a program driven by museum celebrations, kicking off with a handmade empanada menu for the Target First Saturday “Hispanic Heritage” event on October 3rd.

POP! will be an innovative pop-up style culinary initiative featuring surprise food and drink activations reflecting seasonal programming and events. Guests will experience POP! via special pop-up bars in the pavilion, where beer, wine and specialty drinks will be served alongside artisanal savories and sweets. Visitors can expect appearances by the Katchkie Food Truck, serving fresh Farmer’s Bowls and other delicious, locally-sourced, farm-centric offerings, as well as the Great Performances Dog House, where original and creative hot-dog variations such as Brooklyn Bangers can be enjoyed.

Later this year, Great Performances looks forward to reopening the Brooklyn Museum’s signature restaurant space with a new, inspired concept.
