The Second Annual Art of Farming was a resounding, delicious, productive and spirited success. Thank you to our guests for taking part in a night devoted to the celebration of the art and hard work of our farmers, chefs and the evening's beneficiaries.
While the night brought together new friends and old, the intense connection many of our guests felt with one another was what left a real impact. Guests included farmers who grew heirloom varietals specifically for the Art of Farming menu, 25 top chefs who created a unique family-style dinner, and New Yorkers committed to supporting our philanthropic partners, GrowNYC and The Sylvia Center.
Following a multi-course meal celebrating the bountiful flavor of heirloom vegetables, the live auction began, hosted by renowned Sotheby's auctioneer, Jamie Niven. We thank all of our winning bidders for their support and truly hope that much education and fun is derived from their farm experiences, internships, tours and demonstrations.
While it will be difficult to top the fun and success of the Second Annual Art of Farming, here's to many more future shared experiences around the table, in the kitchen or at the farm.
