Rush Philanthropic Arts
Foundation (RPAF) held its annual Art for Life Benefit Saturday at Fairview
Farms in Bridgehampton, NY, raising over $1.1 million for its arts education
and gallery programming. The event was directed and produced by Ronnie Davis Productions/Great Performances.
The gala’s theme was “Midnight at the Oasis” and featured an entirely plant-based menu with no animal products: Fava Bean & Zucchini Crudo, Sorghum Tabouli-Stuffed Cherry Tomatoes, Crabless Cakes with Tofutti Remoulade and more.

Award-winning performer Cynthia Erivo gave a special performance, and The Originals closed the evening. Rapper Chuck D. and DJ Lord performed “Fight the Power."
Rush was founded by Danny, Russell and Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons in 1995 to enable access to the arts and exhibition opportunities to people of color.
