As Spring Wedding Season is kicking off in high gear we asked a few of our favorite up and coming wedding planners who their favorite up and coming wedding dress designers are! It is great hear new names and see new designs!
Bianca Blag of Bianca B. Inc.
Naeem Khan: “I think his collections always exude an air of class, elegance, and sophistication. Even if his inspiration is something a little bit out of the box like last year’s 2016 collection that was inspired by all things Latin, the designs always have a classic feel and not just trendy. They are always soft and feminine in my opinion if even they seem bold at first glance. His designs have an undertone of sexiness without revealing too much and his designs always feel regal while high fashion. I think even brides who are not ‘fashionistas’ so to speak would feel like a celebrity in one of his gowns.”
Annie Lee of Daughter of Design
“What I love about Krikor's work is that there's always that special
detail on each dress that makes it elegantly bold and like no other you've
seen, yet has just the right balance of classic lines to not make it too busy
or far-fetched. It's the kind of dress that makes you feel a joyful shock of
beauty and agony of deep desire all in one breath.”
Lauren Grech of LLG Events Inc.
I'm obsessed with Miss Hayley Paige. She was brought on as head designer of Jim Hjelm, and then launched her own line Hayley Paige and also has “Blush by Hayley Paige” and a bridesmaid line “Hayley Paige Occasions”. Everything about her wedding dresses are fantastic. They're whimsical, they're fun and flowy, perfect for the modern day bride. She brought back the sexiness of using straps by adding crystal and a cross back, showed bridal world how incredible crop top wedding dresses can be and most recently as of spring 2016 launched wedding day attire that is shimmering and glamorous. In my eyes she's designer of the year!
