There are few activities that are as timeless or fun as taking a bunch of in-season vegetables, throwing them into some brine, and preserving them for months to come. We’re thrilled to be offering our own Katchkie Farm pickling workshop this Sunday, September 27th, 4-6pm.
One of Great Performances' chefs and resident pickling expect, Albert Lovelace, will walk us through the process of how to pick the right vegetables, create a proper brine, and how to best store the pickles. The event will be held at our demonstration kitchen at 304 Hudson St. and there will be plenty of cheese, Katchkie Farm crudités, biscotti, and wine for everyone.
