The space - a food hall and a 3-star NYT restaurant - brings Nordic culinary concepts to this New York landmark, helmed by Claus Meyer, founding father of the ‘New Nordic Cuisine’ and co-founder of the world-renowned noma in Copenhagen, Denmark - named best restaurant in the world four times.

We’re working collaboratively with the Great Northern Food Hall and Agern teams to bring special events utilizing Meyer's fresh, unique food to this beautiful space. We bring our operations expertise to this already excellent food project - with opportunity for buyouts and smaller, creatively crafted dinners.
Our missions align completely: Great Northern showcases NY state’s best produce with Scandinavian hospitality. In 2010, Meyer founded the Melting Pot Foundation and is committed to using food to drive social change. The first proof of this in New York is Brownsville Community Culinary Center, a food school with paid apprenticeships as well as a local eatery in east Brownsville.
We look forward to this very special relationship - and can't wait for the beautiful events it brings!
