DIY Cheese Board
by Beth Kaiserman

  • Aim for one of each cheese: soft, firm, aged, and blue. Add more variety with goat and sheeps' milk cheeses. Your local cheesemonger can help.
  • One or two bread options, like baguette, crackers, or breadsticks, is enough.
  • Serve with seasonal apples, pears or cherries and with preserves or raw honey.
  • Add one or two cured meats, whole grain mustard, Marcona almonds and easy quick-brine pickles.
Remove cheese from refrigerator an hour before serving. Label each cheese and serve with separate knives.
