City Parks Summer Stage Gala & Dinner Shines at Terminal 5
by Beth Kaiserman

Though there may have been moments “Under Pressure” due to a huge rainstorm, the show went on for the City Parks Foundation gala last night at Terminal 5, instead of its original spot at Central Park.

After cocktails and a family-style dinner, a selection of David Bowie songs was performed by a variety of talented artists.

Entertainment executive Michael L. Reinert, Esq. received the People and Parks Award for his work as legal counsel to major record labels like Motown and Universal. He received the 2010 Courage & Commitment Award for his work with the Myeloma Research Foundation and was on the board of the TJ Martell Foundation, a well-known music industry charity known for its success in leukemia and breast cancer research.

The evening was a true showcase of the power of collaboration – and the power of rock ‘n’ roll. More info on upcoming SummerStage shows can be found here
