1 and ½ cups flour
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp and 1 tsp baking powder
½ stick butter, softened
6 tbsp cream
½ cup chocolate chips
1) Mix butter, flour and baking powder just until dough comes together. Fold in chocolate chips.
2) Roll dough ½ inch thick. Cut it with a round cutter to get 3-inch wide pieces. Leftover dough can be re-rolled.
3) Place each cobbler on top of a fruit compote of your choice. Brush each cobbler with heavy cream and sprinkle brown sugar on top.
4) Bake at 350F until lightly golden brown on top.
