This summer we returned for the 23rd Annual Watermill Center Summer Benefit and we were thrilled to design a menu inspired by this year's theme, Fada:House of Madness.
The night began with our servers wandering through the art exhibition in the woods, serving signature hors d'oeuvres, such as tuna poke and watermelon radish tacos.
The geometric shapes of early 20th century art gave us direction for our main course, which was striped bass with Katchkie Farm tabouli, heirloom tomatoes, and a yellow tomato coulis.
To incorporate two of the sponsors for the event, for dessert, we created Illy coffee ice cream sandwiches and Dobel Tequila paloma popsicles; perfect for a hot July evening! The benefit closed with an exciting, impromptu performance by Ja Rule!
