1 egg, beaten
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon flour
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
6 drops hot sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¾ teaspoon pepper
3 ½ cups flour
1 jar Thunder Pickles from Katchkie Farm, cut lengthwise
canola oil, for deep frying
Combine first five ingredients, stirring well. Set aside. Combine flour, salt, and pepper, stirring well. Dip each pickle in milk mixture and dredge in flour mixture. Deep fry in 350° F oil until pickles float to surface and are golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
Serve with Katchkie Ketchup or Katchkie Farm Tomato Jam.
