
Chef Tim Sullivan came to Great Performances with ten years of experience in high end restaurants and hotels in Boston and New York City. In Boston Chef Tim worked as a sous chef at the Boston Harbor Hotel under the direction of Chef Daniel Bruce.
From there Chef Tim moved to the NYC culinary scene and started his eight year plus tenure at Great Performances. He began his employment at Great Performances by opening and operating Café Opaline, a midtown eatery within in the Dahesh Museum. He was the chef at Opaline for four years before he moved on to oversee the kitchens at Dizzy’s Club Coca-Cola and Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Currently Chef Tim manages all of Great Performances’ venue cafes and restaurants and special events like JBFLTD, James Beard’s pop-up restaurant in Chelsea Market. Chef Tim is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and currently resides in Garden City, New York.
