Josh Tierney
Co-Director of Style and Design

Josh knows that the age-old adage, "We eat with our eyes first" is true.  So in his world, presentation is everything.  Before touching, tasting, and sometimes even smelling food, our palates are aroused by color, composition, form, texture, line, and style.

Josh comes from a diverse background in theatre, art, fashion, prop styling, visual merchandising, interiors and events.  His multi-disciplinary past gives him a unique approach to creating exquisite food presentations and forward-thinking experiential environments that complement the menu, venue, and his clients' objectives.

Josh honed his skills in the event industry as the Lead Event Designer of a boutique design and planning firm in Manhattan.  He has designed and produced events for the Brooklyn Museum, the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Morgans Hotel Group/Hudson Hotel, Gotham Magazine, Locks of Love, and Motorola, as well as innumerable weddings and private parties.

As a visual merchandiser, Josh has worked on projects for Fendi, Polo Ralph Lauren, Bloomingdale's, Michael C. Fina, and Macy's.  His event design and prop styling work have appeared in Event Solutions, Hamptons Cottages & Gardens, the Knot, Brides, and Gotham Magazine.  He was featured on WLIU public radio as a lifestyle and entertaining commentator with his weekly column entitled Style 101.
